Bryce Canyon, Utah

On our way to Bryce Canyon we climbed to an elevation of almost 10,000 feet. Here we saw a lot of snow that hadn't melted. The outside temperature was in the 40's here.

This is the entrance to the Bryce Canyon National Park. Jack and Shin and their dog Penny, Bob and Sally, Joe and Sue and their dog, Doc.

We went through a couple tunnels on the way to the canyon.

The unique feature about Bryce Canyon was the tower spires called Hoodoos. Some formed structures that resembled castles.

The whole canyon had these hoodoos everywhere. We were all singing "Who do you think you are? Mister Big Stuff". Do you remember that song?

These were white hoodoos. So beautiful. As usual, our pictures don't show the real awesome beauty.

Bob and me at one of the many observation points. See all the hoodoos?

Another observation point.

I couldn't resist taking this picture of a desert phlox growing in the most adverse conditions. It was very pretty with tiny white flowers.
