Downtown Las Vegas Freemont Street

The "Old Downtown" Vegas is a hopping place especially after dark. Freemont Street has an area that is blocked off from traffic. There is a canopy over several casinos. After dark there is music, singing, kioshes selling unique items, and the canopy has a constant light show. It's an awesome sight.

The Glitter Gulch is a topless bar. Several years ago, Bob and I accidently walked right inside. Right before our eyes were these beautiful girls dancing around poles on the stage. Bob and I just stood there in the doorway with our eyes popping out of our heads, when a man walked up to us and said "oh, excuse me, we have a 2 drink minimum". Bob and I just kind of walked out backwards and couldn't stop giggling to each other at what we had done.

This is a very famous neon sign of a cowboy smoking. It's a Vegas Landmark.

Also under the canopy are people that will do anything for you to take a picture of them and then expect a tip. This man had sprayed his body with gold and stood motionless like a statue.

This man was out of Alice in Wonderland and behind him, in a green skin-light outfit was a contortionist.

More weird-os. The man in the black dress was dressed up like a bride. Ugly????

These two were a pirate and his wench. She had a rack on her that protruded out beyond belief.

And of course, an Elvis impersonator.
